Hello family!
Time for an update intended to get the anticipation level up to the next notch. Plans are starting to shape up.
Here is what we have nailed down so far:
Friday, July 29, 2011 6:00 PM – When we get done!
Kickoff barbeque at Cory Smith’s (great grandson of Carrie Stephens Davenport, grandson of Floyd Davenport) house. We will have some hot dogs and burgers to grill but feel free to bring along your own favorite treats to eat and share. Also bring your favorite refreshments. Cory has lots of space and nice covered porch but chairs can be in short supply.
Saturday, July 30, 2911 1:00 (Time Approximate)
The main gathering will be at Harry and Donna Culbertson’s property on Spokane Creek Road east of Helena near Canyon Ferry Lake. The Culbertson’s are long time friends of the family. We will be arranging for some shelter tents and tables and chairs. Dinner will be provided later in the afternoon and will be a strictly informal affair consisting of fried chicken, cold cuts, salads and other picnic fare. Please bring your own refreshments.
We felt that by scheduling a couple of “Main Events” we would be able to allow for plenty of time for the whole group to come together but also allow smaller family units to spend some together away from the big deal.

We are planning to get a brochure via email and regular mail out shortly but we are missing a number of addresses and email addresses. I will be contacting a member of each of the families for whom we still have gaps via Facebook, phone or email over the next few days. We appreciate your help getting the word out to everyone.
